The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor provides a beautiful setting to celebrate your wedding or commitment ceremony. Within our David Osler designed building, our Sanctuary accommodates more than 350 guests. We also have a chapel that accommodates up to 50 guests, and a smaller chapel, which can accommodate 35 guests. Our Social Hall can accommodate receptions of up to 250 seated guests.
We invite you to join us on any Sunday morning (9:30am or 11:30am in the fall and winter and 10:00am in the summer) to experience the life and energy of our congregation and the aesthetics of our Sanctuary and grounds.

We welcome Unitarian Universalist couples, as well as couples from differing faith traditions, who are looking for a way to recognize the sacredness of their ceremony and wishing to share it with people of any faith tradition. The ministers at UUAA will be happy to work with couples to plan their ceremonies to include special readings, rituals, or music.
Typical Unitarian Universalist wedding and commitment services focus on the couple getting married and on their friends and family who will support them as they become a new household, a new family. Unitarian Universalist weddings reflect the personalities of the couple while upholding the deep Unitarian Universalist belief in the inherent value and worth of every human being.
